Do you provide wheelchair-accessible vehicles?

Yes. CareCabs UK Ltd operates fully wheelchair-accessible vehicles (WAVs) with ramps or lifts, secure restraints, and trained drivers to ensure a safe and comfortable journey.

Do I need to pre-book?

Yes, we strongly recommend pre-booking to guarantee availability—especially for hospital appointments, care homes, and school transport.

Can a family member or carer travel with the passenger?

Absolutely. One accompanying passenger is usually included. Please let us know at booking if more people need to travel.

Do you wait during hospital appointments?

Yes. We offer waiting and return journeys. Waiting time may be chargeable depending on the length of the appointment—this will always be explained in advance.

How do I pay?

Payment can be made on the day or in advance. Cash and card are accepted,  We also invoice care homes, councils, and organisations by agreement.

What if the appointment is cancelled or changed?

We understand appointments change. As long as you notify us as soon as possible, we’ll do our best to reschedule. Late cancellations may be subject to a fee.

Are your drivers trained?

Yes. Our drivers are DBS-checked and experienced in assisting wheelchair users, elderly passengers, and those with additional needs.

Which areas do you cover?

We cover Cardiff, the Vale of Glamorgan, and surrounding areas. Longer journeys can be arranged—just ask.
